“Great connection with my brothers, the word was present in it all.”

The guys were pleasantly surprised to discover how much free time they have once they organised all their studies on a timetable!

Sunday morning run

The Running Club saw some new personal bests…

This week’s focus

  • Meditation on Friday 12 April, 16:30-17:00
    On Fridays at 16:30.

  • Games Night on Friday 12 April at 17:00
Let’s unwind after a long week of study and tests!

  • Monthly recollection on Saturday 13 April, 10:00-12:00
Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 10:00. This is a couple of hours of quiet prayer in which we can look at our lives in the presence of God.

Coming up in the next few weeks…

  • Talk on the Life of Christ on Saturday 20 April, 10:00-11:00
On Saturdays at 10:00. In this talk series, we follow Fulton Sheen’s Life of Christ to learn about the life of Jesus exceedingly well and ultimately learn the faith in depth and at the level of young adults.

  • Time Management Workshop, Part 2, on Saturday 20 April, 14:30-17:00
In this practical workshop, we will share our experiences over the past few weeks since Part 1 of this workshop and fine-tune our “systems”.

  • Brookside Running Club on Sunday 21 April, 08:00-09:00
We meet at Brookside at 08:00 for some stretches. Then we run for about 30 minutes and end with some more stretches.

  • Hike on Saturday 27 April at 11:00

Save the date for later on

  • Spiritual retreat from Friday 3 May evening to Sunday 5 May afternoon
This is a silent retreat away from the city to be alone with God, quite a powerful experience to “catch up with God” and set your life on a good course.

  • Study Boot Camp on Saturday 25 May, from 08:00 till late
A full day of immersion into your study without distractions. Put yourself into “flight mode” and experience the silence of the Brookside study room.
