Spotlight from last week

Kuziwa’s graduation on Friday 10 May

Kuziwa was awarded a BCom in Informatics on Friday. Well done, Kuziwa!

This week’s focus

  • Meditation on Friday 17 May, 16:30-17:00
    On Fridays at 16:30.

  • Talk on the Life of Christ on Saturday 18 May, 10:00-11:00
On Saturdays at 10:00. In this talk series, we follow Fulton Sheen’s Life of Christ to learn about the life of Jesus exceedingly well and ultimately learn the faith in depth and at the level of young adults.

  • Brookside Running Club on Sunday 19 May, 08:00-09:00
We meet at Brookside at 08:00 for some stretches. Then we run for about 30 minutes and end with some more stretches.

Coming up in the next few weeks…

  • Games Night on Friday 24 May at 17:00
    Let’s unwind together!

  • Study Boot Camp on Saturday 25 May & 1 June, from 08:00 till late
A full day of immersion into your study without distractions. Put yourself into “flight mode” and experience the silence of the Brookside study room.

Save the date for later on

It’s never too early to book your spiritual retreat! Message Alex or reply to this email asap to make arrangements.

A spiritual retreat is a silent weekend away from the city to be alone with God. It’s a powerful experience to bring meaning and direction into your life.

Food for thought

Cal Newport is a “big voice” on focused, deep work. His advice on social media is quite insightful…
